Everyday Flowers
There was a time when I spent more on flowers than I did on food. I’d rather eat ramen noodles and have an arm full of roses, then eat fancy and have my vases be bare.
I used to be really, really good friends with the women who owned my local flower shop. I’d come in with a twenty dollar bill and buy whatever they’d give me for cheap. But where I live now, there’s no such place. So lately, when I’ve been craving flowers, I’ve been exploring mail order services. Right now, my fave for Everyday Flowers is The Bouqs.
There’s lots of deals and promo codes around if you hunt for them that make the idea of sending yourself flowers feel like a possible, affordable, treat.
