I love to give a signed cookbook as a gift. It’s hard to nail a book as a perfect gift as tastes and libraries vary, but everyone eats and almost everyone I know has one passionate home cook in the family so a signed cookbook is a gift that’s both useful and beautiful.

I was really happy to meet Donna Hay whose books and magazines have inspired my work and the way I cook, for years. But the best part was getting a copy of Donna’s classic book, Seasons, signed for my daughter.  I have a whole collection of books signed for her and I love that as she gets older, she’ll dive into these books and (hopefully) smile when she sees her name.
