The holidays are officially upon us and a friend mentioned that she was searching for ideas for small gifts to get people she works with.

Here are a few of my favorite work appropriate gifts:

You just can’t go wrong with a coffee or tea gift. Everyone in your office is already a daily drinker or offers beverages to guests, which means these won’t go to waste. Food52 has a wonderful collection of caffeinated and herbal gifts that present particularly well. My favorites to give are the Palais des Thés Tea Blends and Matcha Tea Gift Set.

There’s no one in your office who doesn’t feel overwhelmed — and everyone would like to be recognized for their hard work. Bando’s “I am very busy” collection of notebooks, tote bags, note pads and mugs will make your coworker laugh and feel appreciated.

These beautiful little notebooks by Blackbird Press in Louisiana are $10 and a great find. My favorite is the Shirley Chisholm one that says, “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.”

There’s no gift like the gift of laughter — and who doesn’t smile when entering the mind of Kevin Heart? His book I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons is always a win.
