Je T’aime Le Creuset
I first met Le Creuset when I was given one as a wedding gift. Then came the tea kettle and then the minis. The minis are wonderful because two make a lovely present, but they won’t break the bank.
Lately, I’ve been using the minis to make individual sized beef wellingtons, but they are great for mini savory pies of all sorts, including my Moroccan chicken pot pie. The day that Epicurious published my recipe was one of my best domestic goddess moments ever: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Moroccan-Chicken-Pot-Pie-240752
Besides my books, vases, and art, my most favorite possessions are my Le Creuset!
Books, vases, art & Le Creuset — sounds like the ingredients to a life well-lived!
Hmmm….. I think I’ll do a post on that! Thanks for the thought. I love that company. I own other cast iron pieces (but they’re more appropriate for outdoor use).
In July I almost traded some random possessions for a grand piano, but then I remembered that I’m unemployed, don’t have a great housing situation and can only play 3 songs from memory. I’d need to find a boyfriend who could play on command.
